In a few clicks, a no-code workflow can read email, write to the CRM and move files. Easy connection does not reduce risk: it makes least privilege and clear ownership even more important.

Inventory connectors and identities

Record every connection, account, workspace and owner. Personal credentials in a business workflow create a hidden dependency.

Reduce scopes

Select specific folders, lists and actions instead of full access. If the platform does not provide granular scopes, isolate the account and data.

Protect secrets and test data

Do not put tokens in descriptions or shared spreadsheets. Test with synthetic data and restrict who can view run history.

Require approval for side effects

Deletion, payment, bulk sending and record changes require validation or a human checkpoint. A mistaken trigger can escalate quickly.

Close access during offboarding

Connect workflows to central management and check what remains active when their creator leaves. Periodically recertify all permissions.
